Chaga (Inonotus Obliquus) is the fungus of one in 10,000 trees with a vast stand of birch which we find a limited supply.
Chaga has been prized by Europeans and Indigenous people for many centuries. It is known to regulate diabetic issues, reduces cholesterol and increases heart health. It has strong anti-tumoral properties and it is the highest antioxidant of any plant or fungus compound known to man. Chaga is sustainably harvested on our trap line which we only take 40% of the Chaga from the tree. At one time we offer chunked or powdered sugar as well as tinctures. We harvest our Chaga in the winter months, once the sap has stopped flowing in the trees.
