It is known to help regulate sugars in diabetes. It has a mild pain-relieving quality that is beneficial in arthritis. Note Labrador tea should not be consumed by pregnant women or people trying to conceive as it is high in tannins and may cause a fetus to dis attach from the uterus causing abortion. Our Labrador tea is sold in packages of whole leaves and is usually consumed in teas. It is a main ingredient in our blind trapper pharmaceutical tea called the Delta Flush. Labrador leaves are harvested in early autumn, once they have matured.
